About
Michael W. Pflug is a music composer, sound designer, songwriter, trumpeter with over two decades of experience as a creative audio professional. Known for his captivating and emotive musical scores, he specializes in crafting unique soundtracks that elevate storytelling in films and video games, ensuring every project deeply resonates with its audience.
Michael's career includes collaborations with a variety of studios and developers, such as Lazarus Filmworks, Dark Wolf Pictures, Nightfire Films, Calcatz, Minmax Games, ReelNRG and IndiEye Productions. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Film Composition and Commercial Music from Florida Atlantic University. In addition to his media work, Michael is a composer and arranger of wind ensemble and marching band repertoire, having his works being premiered by many bands, including the U.S. Army's "Pershing's Own.
Beyond film and media, Michael has been an educator of middle and high school students since 2002. He has also toured the world performing on cruise ships and holds 3 Drum Corps International (DCI) world championship titles with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. He currently resides in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area.
